How to Install in FrontPage.
Download both UP State and Over State Images by right clicking and
saving them to your hard drive, make a note of where you saved them to.
Open FrontPage 2002 (10) and 2003 (11)
- Open your web site.
- Insert the Up State image on a page.
- Click View (File Edit
View...)
- Toolbars >
- Once the DHTML Toolbar has appeared, single left click on the Up
State image. Notice that on the DHTML Toolbar at the left most box, "ON
<Choose an event>" is highlighted.
- On the "ON <Choose an event>
v" <
Drop down arrow, select Mouse over.
- Now the middle box Apply is highlighted as well, choose "Swap
Picture".
- No the right box is highlighted, choose "Choose picture", then
browse to the Over State image on your drive. Open.
- Now save the page, both images will be saved to your web site.
- Click the preview button or preview in browser to see the
effect.
- If your second image is not already on the page, you may want to
preload your images, FrontPage 2003 has the ability to do the hard
work for you in the new Behaviors. Just click on Behaviors, Preload
images. This will make sure the user has already downloaded the
images from your site, so when they hover over a image there will be
little delayed in showing the "image swap".
