Creating A Dynamic What's New Page In FrontPage - Database Driven!

- On 5 of 5 Select > Spilt records into groups > 1 record per group
Click >Finish
- FrontPage will generate the asp code. Your Page should now look like
this:
- Put your cursor on the ID row and select >Table >Insert >Rows or
Columns
- Select Rows > Number = 1 >Below selection Click >OK
- On the new row to the left, hover until you get a black arrow then
left click, you can also do this by clicking in the left cell (hold down
left mouse button and drag to the right.
- Now right click On The Highlighted Area and select >
Merge cells
- Now right click the <<whatsnewcontent>> and select cut. Put your
cursor in the the below cell you just merged and select paste.
- Now hover over the whatsnewcontent column until you get the black
arrow, left click to highlight it, right click in the highlighted area
and select delete cells, cut also works.
- Rename the Timestamp column to Something better like Date Posted or
Article Posted. You can format the table anyway you like i.e. highlight
cell properties, table properties. You can also remove the Head cell as
I did.
- Use your whats_new_post.asp to add content! Enjoy.
